Exploiting the earth

I do not think that most people realize that just because we live on Earth, does not mean we own the Earth. Instead of living with nature, we make it work for us. Basically we kill it for our own selfish wants. If and when the world comes to an end it is going to be because we have ruined it. This is because you can only take so much. Eventually there will be nothing more that nature can give us. There will be no more trees to harvest. There will be no more oil under the ground. There will be no more of anything!
